CE Lead Import Instructions
Follow the steps below to import leads into Microsoft CE from an Excel file.
- Ensure row 1 of the Excel document contains ALL of the following columns with the correct headings:
- Division*
- First Name
- Last Name
- Account Name
- Business Phone
- Job Title
- Street 1
- City
- State*
- Country*
- ZIP/Postal Code
- Product of Interest*
- utm_source
- utm_medium
- utm_campaign
- Topic
- Submission url (if applicable)
- Industry* (if applicable)
- Description (for any notes)
- The starred columns (Division, State, Country, Product of Interest, Industry) are lookup columns, and the data in these columns MUST match one of a predetermined list of data inputs.
Division:

Save Excel document as a .CSV file and import into CE. If any column headings were incorrect, map column to the corresponding data field in CE manually during the import process.
Check imported leads in CE to ensure all the information has been imported correctly.
